Licensed Special Education Teacher LLD Program | Springfield, MA (Contract)
A full-time licensed Special Education Teacher opportunity is available to support the Learning Disabilities and/or Communication Impairments (LLD) program at a Springfield-based school focused on empowering students through tailored academic and behavioral support. This role is ideal for educators licensed in Massachusetts who have experience working with students requiring individualized education plans (IEPs) and thrive in collaborative teaching environments.
Location:
- Springfield, Massachusetts (Impact Prep LLD Program, within Chestnut Campus)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the teacher of record for students in the LLD program
- Lead instructional delivery aligned with students IEPs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Work closely with paraprofessionals and support staff to enhance classroom learning and behavioral outcomes
- Maintain strong classroom management and effective instructional planning to meet diverse learner needs
- Participate in meetings and trainings via Microsoft Teams
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts Special Education teaching license
- Experience supporting students with specific learning disabilities and communication impairments
- Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
- Strong collaboration skills with educators and support personnel
- Skilled in classroom management and adaptive instructional strategies
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet scheduling needs
Contract Details:
- Immediate start, through the end of the current school year
- Full-time schedule
- Interview conducted via Microsoft Teams (1530 minutes)
