We are hiring an experienced Special Education Teacher to work on our school campus in Dixon, CA, and nearby places. For the current school year of 2024-2025, These are full-time and full-school-year positions.

Job Details Special Education Teacher (Mod-Severe)

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Dixon, CA
  • Age Group: Elementary/ Middle/High School
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End date: June 2025
  • Total hours: 35-40 hours per week (will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Credential Required: all require a mild/moderate credential

Qualifications
- Experience working with students in special education settings, including those with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Strong background in early childhood education, preschool experience, and toddler care.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques, speech therapy, and curriculum development.
- Familiarity with learning technology, early intervention strategies, and literacy education.

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Provide classroom management to create a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists to support students with autism.
- Conduct early intervention strategies to address developmental delays.
- Engage in toddler care and preschool activities to support early childhood education.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 40 per week
