Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Federal Way, WA 98003

Payrate: $55/hr

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Special Education Teacher will create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, providing tailored instruction and behavioral support to ensure their academic, social, and emotional success. Collaboration with staff and parents is key.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage IEPs.

• Provide customized instruction.

• Assess and track student progress.

• Support students' emotional/behavioral needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Special Education (Master's preferred).

• Washington State Special Education Certification.

• Strong communication and instructional skills.
