JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a part-time special education teacher position for the rest of this school year with the potential to renew for summer and the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This position would be working on-site with a great district near lovely Franklin, Massachusetts. It pays $65 per hour for a licensed and certified special education teacher in Massachusetts and you can bill for 25 hours per week worked! These services would be provided in the home for two 18-year-old brothers. It should be noted these students have visual impairments (one is blind).

```Duties:```
- Providing special education instruction and support to students in need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers.

```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
- Valid Massachusetts license or certification in Special Education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
