Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers an opportunity to support up to 35 students in grades 7 through 12 within a resource setting. The contract runs from July 16, 2026, to May 22, 2027, and is located in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and resource support to students in grades 7-12.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance and growth according to district and state guidelines.
• Utilize adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and independence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification/license.
• Experience working with middle and high school special education students.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
