Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education/Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher in Charlotte, NC (28208). This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade at a single location.

Qualifications: Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License Experience in special education instruction and individualized student support Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning challenges Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary Collaborate with peers and administrators to foster an inclusive learning environment Maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations
