Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years’ direct experience working with students on the autism spectrum across multiple grade levels.
- Proven ability supporting diverse learners, from high-functioning students in general education to those with significant support needs in self-contained settings.
- Experience administering autism evaluations and conducting assessments to measure student impact.
- Current Oregon licensure and certification appropriate to your discipline (TSPC required for SPED teachers, School Psychologists, SLPs, or Board Certification for SLPs/BCBAs).
- For BCBA candidates: At least three years’ autism-specific experience with familiarity in public education and special education environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Deliver expertise as an autism consultant and support districts in developing and implementing effective strategies for student success.
- Assess student needs and provide tailored recommendations for intervention planning and programming.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student development.
- Participate in team meetings, conduct student evaluations, and contribute to individualized education planning.
- Deliver professional development and support to staff working with students on the spectrum.
