Special Projects Coordinator Apply
The Special Projects Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the CEO and the executive leadership team of Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing special projects and initiatives, assisting in strategic planning, and ensuring the successful execution of critical organizational tasks. The Special Projects Coordinator will work closely with various internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives and advance the mission of the nonprofit.
JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with the CEO to identify, plan, and execute special projects and initiatives. Develop project timelines, milestones, and action plans. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful completion.
- Strategic Planning Support: Assist the CEO in developing and refining the organization's strategic plan. Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports to support decision-making processes. Coordinate strategic planning meetings and contribute to discussions on future organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and individuals involved in special projects.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze relevant data to evaluate project performance and measure the impact of initiatives. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for the CEO and executive leadership team, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Presentations and Report Writing: This role involves preparing and designing professional presentations to effectively communicate ideas and data. The individual will develop compelling proposals tailored to client or organizational needs, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with objectives. Additionally, the position requires the creation of detailed and accurate reports, analyzing information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the CEO and executive leadership team. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items as needed.
- Event Management: Assist in the planning and execution of organizational events, conferences, and workshops. Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, and ensure smooth event operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the organization. Implement best practices and recommend changes to optimize project outcomes.
Requirements
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Nonprofit Management) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Health and Human Services preferred.
- Proven experience in project coordination, strategic planning, or related roles, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis and report preparation, using tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Passion for the mission and values of the nonprofit organization.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
- Must be available for travel as needed.
