Specialist, Inventory Management (CICP)Wescam USA is looking for a highly motivated and talented Inventory Management professional to provide the Contractor Inventory Control Point (CICP) function for the United States Government. This position is at the Wescam USA facility on Hurlburt Field, FL. This role will support the customer on-site and will be required to travel to other sites in New Mexico quarterly, or as needed. The Inventory Management Support professional will be proficient in their role and be able to work under limited supervision. The Government Property Specialist will function as the Contractor Inventory Control Point (CICP) responsible for inventory of all WASP Government/Customer owned assets in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contractual requirements. Responsible to implement, establish and maintain an inventory management database system that provides accurate asset visibility, inventory, and status reporting. A successful candidate for this role will have effective communication with colleagues within and outside the Hurlburt Field, Fl facility on matters requiring explanation or providing information. Typical work schedule is 80 hours every two weeks with every other Friday off, but occasional overtime may be required.Essential Functions:Proven ability to maintain CICP programExperience in SAP, DPAS, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to work in team environmentResponsible for all incoming and outgoing parcel and freight shipments from the Wescam USA Hurlburt Field, Fl facility.Assisting Service Center Administrator with all incoming parts and their proper disposition to inventory or active repairs.Responsible for managing and interpreting calibration reports to ensure calibrated tools are inventoried, monitored, and delivered to support facility repairs and other projects.Responsible for Quarterly Hazardous Material inventory and replenishment process.Coordinate shipping activities which adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements. This role will work very closely with Trade Compliance professionals within the organization.This role may be asked to assist with other activities around Hurlburt Field facility including work in and around aircraft.Administration and purchasing duties in automated company system, Ariba, for on-site and geographically separated groups.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience4+ years experience in CICP, Supply Chain, Customer Administration, Logistics/Operations Support, or Technical Repair Management environments.Requires proficient knowledge of job area.Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications for preparing shipping documents and other software program essential for the role.Must be a US Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR.Must maintain eligibility requirements to access U.S. classified information.Preferred Additional Skills:Special Operations, AFSOC, DOD, Airborne Law Enforcement or other similar experience is desired.4 years' experience with MS Office applications including Word and Excel is required as well as with specialized software test programs.Familiarity with government contracting is preferred but not required.Practical knowledge of project management.Previous experience communicating with contacts, within and outside the department, on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to reach an understanding/agreement.Previous success working under limited supervision or autonomously.Previous experience successfully prioritizing and managing multiple projects at one time.
