The official internal title is Senior Marketer / Product Manager.JOB PURPOSEThe Marketer supports the sales team within an assigned geographic region by managing pricing and promotions for a designated range of electronic components. This role involves analyzing and responding to market trends, maintaining profit margin accountability, negotiating with suppliers, and preparing daily quotations, pricing, and gross profit reports. The position requires close collaboration with branch offices to ensure alignment and maximize sales performance.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESEvaluate sales opportunities (via phone, e-mail, or bills of material) and establish market resale prices to Sales through quoting competitively.Negotiate special pricing with suppliers.Provide Sales team with information and tools necessary to support customer.Monitor and control the release of orders, analyze and interpret reports for management.Drive and develop the product area with Sales and Customers, responsive to turns opportunities.JOB CONTENTResponsible for achieving sales targets and profitability.Having the knowledge to quote to win on time for key branch customer opportunities.Work with suppliers and the sales force on daily requirements.Responsible for overall margin for relevant Product classes.Obtain and enforce Ship & Debit program wherever relevant.Monitor backorder register on a daily basis.Authorize CBO change and cancellations.Authorize price release.Maintain quote log and supplier activity log.JOB REQUIREMENTSAt least a Diploma or Degree qualification in a relevant field of study.2 years of prior relevant working experience is highly advantageous.Strong business, analytical, and organizational skills with computer proficiency.Responsible, committed, and results-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Work Location: ESR BizPark@Changi (short walking distance from Expo MRT station)
