We are looking for someone to join our People & Culture (human resources) department to help run the daily functions for full cycle recruitment, people operations, payroll, employer branding and other related tasks.

This is a hybrid work schedule with two days a week required in our Beacon, NY office.
Your Responsibilities
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to payroll, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Serve as the point of contact for HR related queries, providing an employee experience that reflects our values.
  • Participates in employer branding projects, like organization of internal events and job fairs.
  • Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience to new hires.
What you need to succeed
  • Ability to accommodate a hybrid work schedule (two days a week) in our Beacon, NY office.
  • Ability to travel one week a year to our Headquarters in Germany.
  • College degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; 3-5 years human resources experience; or any combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll and HR platform a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • SHRM-CP preferred or commitment to sit for the exam within one year.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Confidence and ability to coach and counsel hiring managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
What we can offer
  • Annual starting salary range is $60,000 to $75,000.
  • This is an exempt position.
  • Standard 40 hours work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
  • DocuWare funds full deductible annually towards single/family HDHP medical plan.
