Boston Speech Therapy is excited to announce a full-time opening for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at a school. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with a range of communication and swallowing disorders. With a competitive hourly pay rate between $80 to $85, this position offers both financial and professional rewards.

We are dedicated to providing quality therapy services and tailored treatment strategies while supporting our staff's professional growth. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech and language capabilities.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions to enhance clients' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of therapy sessions and patient progress.
  • Continuously seek out and incorporate current research and therapeutic techniques into practice.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in clinical, educational, or outpatient settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements

Benefits

  • ASHA fees and MA license reimbursed
