Boston Speech Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist at an Elementary school. As part of our dynamic team, you will work in a supportive environment focusing on providing high-quality care to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. Your role will involve assessing and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions tailored to each patient's needs.

This position is full-time contract until the end of the school year and offers an opportunity for professional growth and collaboration with a network of experienced professionals. You will be supported by our team in ensuring effective communication strategies are developed for each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare team members to support the patient's communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all patients
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices in the field

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with communication disorders
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems

Benefits

This is a contract position until the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Benefits are unfortunately not included with this position.

  • $80-90 per hour contract position
