Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, helping residents improve functional communication and quality of life.

Requirements
  • Licensure: Must hold a current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of California.

  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience acceptable; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Certifications: Current professional certification and licensure as required for speech therapy practice.

  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing function.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Document patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes according to regulatory and facility standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care goals.

  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress.

Work Environment
  • Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation setting

  • Collaborative interdisciplinary care team focused on improving patient outcomes
