Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Assisted Living Facility | Oregon
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll have the opportunity to help older adults regain their voice and confidence in an environment where communication truly matters. This role focuses on supporting residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing challenges, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on their quality of life.

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Load: Approximately 7 patients per day / 35 visits per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve residents' quality of life.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active SLP license in Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
