Job Summary:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This role involves gathering and reporting patient data, implementing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures tailored to the patient's age and condition, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include performing related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and report patient data to the RN.
- Implement physician orders and nursing care plans.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients.
- Provide nursing care appropriate to the patient's age and population.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Experience working with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
