Boston Speech Therapy is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students at an elementary school with diverse communication disorders. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to support students' speech and language development in an engaging and collaborative school environment.

The hourly rate for this position is between $45 and $52, depending on experience.

You must have valid SLPA licence in MA. This is an in person job. We are looking for someone who can start immediately or in the next few weeks. Experience with Autism is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the licensed Speech Language Pathologist in assessing and diagnosing clients
  • Help implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
  • Provide therapy sessions to enhance the speech and language skills of clients
  • Document and monitor client progress accurately
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate and support them in communication strategies
  • Work alongside other professionals to ensure comprehensive multidisciplinary care
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to improve skills and knowledge in the field

Requirements

  • State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Capability to follow directives and work under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Passion for helping individuals improve their communication abilities

Benefits
