Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Benefits Verification Supervisor is to supervise staff in the Benefits Verification Department, and to provide direction to the staff within Pharmacy operations to ensure to ensure patient benefits are verified in accordance to the company guidelines and that patient expectations are met to achieve exceptional customer service and business profitability.


In order to be successful in this role youll analyze call/performance statistics and daily workflow to ensure that all production and quality goals are met, coordinate procedural changes, resolve issues/problems as it relates to the department and the company.
In regards to the team youll be supervising, you will evaluate and review their progress, coach, motivate & counsel staff including administering disciplinary action when necessary.
To support the management team youll be involved in interviewing and hiring, directing and implementing department and pharmacy wide projects.
You should use your previous supervisory, organizational and production environment skills to be successful in this position.

Required Qualifications
Specialty pharmacy experience, specifically in Benefits Verification

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ Year Supervisor Experience or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree within Business, Management or Healthcare related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.
00 - $85,100.
00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
