JOB DESCRIPTION

The Database Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of critical database systems, ensuring high availability and consistent performance across production and development environments.

 Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta*

Required Skills
- Experience in IT or related field.   Required.  3 + yrs.
- Education: College degree or training.  Highly desired.  
- Certifications: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft SQL Server. Desired.
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.   Required.  
- DBMS: Proficiency with Microsoft SQL. Required.  3 + yrs.
- Operating systems: Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments. Required.  3 + yrs.
- Scripting: Shell scripting, PowerShell, or similar for automation. Required.  3 + yrs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes. Desired. 3 + yrs.
- Experience with PowerApps, Power BI Services, Power Automate. Desired. 3 + yrs.
- Experience with .NET programming languages (C#). Desired. 3 + yrs.

Education: 
Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
