Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for an SQL Database Administrator. This position will be located in Glynco, GA, and will be an onsite position with flexible telework potential. Responsibilities: • Manages database design, implementation, and maintenance.• Provide design and implementation of software and databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and/or newer. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree and 5 - 8 years of equivalent experience in computer science, system analysis or a related field• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in design and implementation of software and databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and/or newer. • Must be a U.S. citizen• Must pass a Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation Preferred qualifications:• Experience working with DHS and/or FLETC• Master’s degree in computer science, system analysis or a related field• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator• No security clearance required; Secret Clearance Preferred Company Overview: GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
