You Are: UST is searching for a skilled SQL & C Developer with experience in the healthcare domain to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems and services that support healthcare applications, ensuring high performance, security, and data integrity. The opportunity: * Develop and maintain applications and services using C and .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 6+ preferred). * Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. * Design, implement, and support relational database structures (SQL Server or similar). * Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Work on the integration of external healthcare systems, APIs, and data feeds (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EDI 27x). * Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. * Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and production incidents. * Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and deployment planning. This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required. What you need : * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 10+ years of hands-on experience in C/.NET development. * Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL). * Experience working in the healthcare domain, including familiarity with claims, eligibility, or EHR/EMR systems. * Understanding of data security and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA). * Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or HIPAA 27x EDI transactions. * Knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ, and RESTful API development. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD tools. * Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Experience with data transformation or ETL pipelines. Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below. Role Location: Georgia Compensation Range : $82,000-$123,000 Benefits Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico. Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
