SQL Database Developer II Location: Greater Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) NO C2C and No sponsorship available Are you a SQL expert who enjoys solving complex data challenges and building scalable database solutions? We're partnering with a growing organization that is investing in its data platform and looking for a Database Developer II to help modernize its database environment. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-level SQL development, data integration, reporting, and performance optimization while collaborating with architects and cross-functional technology teams. What You'll Do as a SQL Database Developer II Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database solutions. Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS. Develop reporting solutions with SSRS and Power BI. Tune database performance through indexing, query optimization, and best practices. Support cloud and hybrid database modernization initiatives. Collaborate with application developers, business stakeholders, and data architects. Troubleshoot complex database and reporting issues. Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews. Help drive database standards, security, and technical best practices. What We're Looking For in the SQL Database Developer II Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience. 4-6 years of experience with enterprise database development. Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development experience. Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. Familiarity with cloud or hybrid database environments. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or C# is a plus. Microsoft SQL Server or Azure certifications are a bonus.
