Responsibilities:
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing for audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify variances, prepare budgets, and report findings to management.
• Develop and enhance accounting systems and procedures, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage tax compliance, ensuring adherence to federal regulations.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Generate detailed financial reports for labor investigations, expense analysis, and customer profit-and-loss statements.
• Monitor and ensure accurate monthly inventory valuation and coordinate annual physical inventory counts.
• Review inter-company bookings and payments to ensure proper accounting.
• Investigate expenses related to cost centers, departments, and projects, providing actionable insights.
• Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and meet performance standards.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting standards.
• Experience managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), inventory tracking, and fixed asset management.
• Proficiency in forecasting techniques and generating comprehensive financial reports.
• Familiarity with multinational company operations, particularly in manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
