We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Marlboro, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and inventory accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial records.
• Monitor and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS) to support business decisions.
• Manage inventory accounting processes, including tracking and valuation.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for audits.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Expertise in managing general ledger operations and journal entries.
• Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory accounting.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data accurately.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
