As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support and will play a critical role in managing schedules, coordinating communications, and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in supporting senior executives or healthcare professionals who thrive in a fast-paced academic and medical setting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Calendar and Meeting Management: Actively manage schedules, arrange meetings, and prepare materials.
- Communication Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the doctors, internal staff, external partners, and patients.
- Document Preparation: Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word and other tools.
- Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Provide support with medical record management in EPIC (experience preferred but not required).
- General Administrative Tasks: Facilitate departmental operations, including handling travel arrangements, expense tracking, and other clerical duties as required.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (required).
- Exposure to EPIC or similar electronic health records software (a strong plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex medical or educational environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
