Sr. Commercial HVAC Tech – Sr. Commercial HVAC Tech at Cresco Labs. Responsible for advanced technical repairs, acting as CMMS lead, mentoring and providing guidance on inventory and parts accuracy. Job Summary Cresco Labs is seeking a Sr. Commercial HVAC Tech to perform advanced technical repairs and serve as the CMMS lead to ensure work orders are tracked and executed efficiently across the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC with a proven track record of opening systems for major internal repairs. The Sr. Commercial HVAC Tech will be responsible for performing advanced technical repairs, including heavy component replacement, complex troubleshooting, and circuit recovery and restoration. The candidate will also serve as a technical mentor and provide guidance on parts accuracy and inventory management. Core Job Duties Perform advanced technical repairs, including heavy component replacement, complex troubleshooting, and circuit recovery and restoration Serve as the CMMS lead to ensure work orders are tracked and executed efficiently across the maintenance team Provide technical mentorship and guidance on parts accuracy and inventory management Monitor the CMMS dashboard to prioritize calls and assign routine PMs to the team Use the CMMS to document specific repair data to build a digital birth certificate for every 5‑40 ton unit in the portfolio Required Experience, Education and Skills 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC EPA Section 608 Universal Certification Physical proficiency, including expert brazing skills and the ability to rig and hoist heavy motors or compressors safely Software comfort, including the ability to quickly navigate a mobile CMMS app NATE certification preferred OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety certification preferred Digital proficiency, including the ability to operate a mobile CMMS platform Additional Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry The company does not offer employment‑based visa sponsorship for this role or any other position.
