We’re seeking a hands‑on Design Engineer to lead the development of vehicle conversion systems from concept through launch. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in mechanism design, structural systems, and full vehicle integration — and wants to see their designs come to life in prototype and production. What You’ll Do Design and develop vehicle conversion systems using Autodesk Inventor Engineer mechanisms, suspensions, structures, doors, and liftgates Lead design activities through APQP / Stage Gate processes Drive cost, quality, and timing targets Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales Build and support prototype vehicles Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack‑ups, and validation planning What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 3+ years of automotive design experience Strong mechanism and structural design expertise Deep understanding of GD&T, dimensional management, and tolerance analysis Experience with steel and aluminum part design & manufacturing Working knowledge of FEA, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&R, DOE, and 8D Familiarity with vehicle systems (fuel, exhaust, cooling, braking) Proficiency in Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, and ERP systems Preferred Assembly plant launch experience Prototype fabrication and welding knowledge If you're a detail‑driven engineer who enjoys solving complex vehicle integration challenges and working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment — this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact from concept to production. #J-18808-Ljbffr
