ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Percentages represent guidelines only; May vary by position and fluctuate due to changing business needs. 55% Analysis, design work, setups, and testing - Analyze business requirements, develop design, manage configuration and integration, and conduct robust testing to support new system implementations, current system upgrades and business process changes and CI initiatives. Work to be reviewed with Sr. Analyst or manager. 15% Day-to-day support - Support current business systems including issue identification and resolution, functional performance monitoring and tuning and disaster recovery capability to meet business objectives leveraging both user feedback and internal metrics to drive improvement. 5% Reports and Metrics - Extract and format data to support functional reporting and metric needs. 10% Project management – Development and coordination of large projects across multiple systems and functions. 15% Documentation and Training - Create and maintain documentation and conduct end user training as well as IT team training. Educate users in workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by system. Responsibilities outside of normal business hours – primarily related to support, but at times can be required to support specific projects. Responsibilities Key senior member of the Manufacturing IT team and working as part of an Intelligent Operations agile team, directly supporting development and/or rollout and implementation of Industry 4.0 tools at various manufacturing sites. Responsible for coordination with business process owners to translate requirements into systems solutions. Responsible from design to implementation. This would include process flows, API’s, UI designs, etc. This position would be key to identify any gaps in existing solutions and work with the I4.0 technical team to provide them with the needed specs to rectify these gaps. Will utilize a combination of business analyst and technical skills to deliver projects in an effective, timely manner. Will be expected to go to the shop floor as needed to understanding current processes, collaborative solutioning, and troubleshooting as necessary. Responsible for creating an environment of cooperation and teamwork which supports the identification and timely completion of projects. This would include, but is not limited to, training support, monitoring progress, and communication among Pella and customer teams. This position will interact with Site IT, OT team, operations personnel, as well as the Manufacturing IT team. This will primarily be an on-site role, preferably in Pella. Willing to have discussions if a candidate lives by other Pella manufacturing locations around the country. Will be responsible for coordinating testing scenarios and tasked with managing customer relationships in assigned areas. Assists internal customers with issue resolution and troubleshooting daily. This could include off-hour support, up to potentially being part of a night-on-call rotation. Collaborate and communicate with the team in an agile/scrum work environment. Mentor less experienced team members, including site IT at all plants throughout the company. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or other relevant fields; and 5+ years of experience. Or some combination of equivalent experience and education. Familiarity with collecting and using manufacturing data on the shop floor. Understanding of the integration between IT systems and Operations technology. Experience with I4.0 technologies (sensors, cameras, scanners, RFID, etc.). Experience with mobile tools such as tablets, phones, etc. Experience with the Microsoft suite of products. Able to understand and perform complex SQL query functions. Proficient with use of business intelligence tools and best practices. Strong leadership, organization and project management skills, and the ability to speak in front of groups of customers and/or employees. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with ERP applications like Oracle EBS. A focus on inventory and manufacturing knowledge preferred. Experience with AI and Machine learning. BI publisher reports. Capability to read and interpret technical documents. PowerBI, or similar business intelligence tools.
