The company seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician III to support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility and to lead a shift of technicians and automation support partners. About the Role In this vital position you will be responsible for the optimization and execution of preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and operational performance for conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADA devices and programs. You will provide expert-level support for technical problems related to the client’s MHE systems. What You’ll Do Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems. Lead and audit preventive‑maintenance procedures. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc. Lead and mentor a plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training of Maintenance Technicians. Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Cultivate positive working relationships with the client and operations maintenance team. Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. What You’ll Need Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. High school diploma or GED. 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety requirements. Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics. Ability to conduct preventive‑maintenance and procedure‑based maintenance. Experience reading blueprints and schematics. Experience with PLC programs. 3+ years of work‑order management. Ability to interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up‑time and prioritize accordingly. Physical capability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent professional experience. Previous leadership experience. Previous vendor‑management experience. Experience with robotic maintenance.Experience with CMMS. Certification in one or more of the following: electronics, electrical, mechanical, access‑control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
