After two years of successful service, there is a path into management as an Area Maintenance Manager. About the Role In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a Maintenance Technician III you’ll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians and control support partners. What You’ll Do Repair, maintain, and continuously improve the functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility. Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc. Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians. Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Build positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members. Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. What You’ll Need Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls. Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards. Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics. Ability to conduct preventative and procedure-based maintenance. Experience reading blueprints and schematics. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs. 3+ years of work order management. Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college focused on Mechanical or Electrical fields. Previous leadership experience. Previous vendor management experience. Experience with robotic maintenance. Experience with CMMS. Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
