Senior Property Accountant Bergen County, NJ (Onsite) Established and growing commercial real estate investment and management firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to oversee full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. This is a high-visibility role working closely with executive leadership and ownership. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned property portfolio Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis Handle accruals, prepaids, depreciation, amortization, and journal entries Perform bank reconciliations (operating, escrow, security deposits) Prepare CAM reconciliations and oversee tenant billings Support investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions Coordinate with lenders and assist with loan administration Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and year-end reporting Partner with property management and asset management teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 3+ years of commercial/industrial property accounting experience Experience managing a portfolio of properties Strong month-end close and financial reporting skills CAM reconciliation and tenant billing experience required Advanced Excel skills Experience with real estate accounting systems (MRI, Yardi, Sage, or similar preferred) Professional communication skills with ability to present to leadership Environment Stable ownership with long-term portfolio strategy Fast-paced, collaborative environment Hands-on role requiring adaptability and ownership mindset Full-time, onsite schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
