LaSalle Network is partnered with technology solutions company that is looking for a Sr. Solution Delivery Architect of Mainframe Storage to join the team. The ideal candidate will support TAPE and DASD functions, and bring a senior level of knowledge of mainframe storage management environments including CA-1, DFRMM, DFSMS, and equivalent. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, and is fully remote. Sr. Solution Delivery Architect of Mainframe Storage Responsibilities:Manage and support enterprise-grade tape and disk storage systems (DASD) for mainframe environmentsEnsure storage infrastructure is prepared for disaster recovery testing, including replication managementTroubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues during DR testing and document lessons learnedAssist with new client migrations and prepare their storage for future DR readinessAct as a subject matter expert on storage during DR testing and escalate unresolved issuesDesign and implement storage solutions to meet client and business needs Sr. Solution Delivery Architect of Mainframe Storage Requirements:8+ years of experience in a senior-level role supporting z/OS environments, including tape and DASD functionsIn-depth knowledge of mainframe storage management solutions like DFSMS, FDR/ABR, CA-1, DFRMM, or similar toolsExperience supporting disaster recovery within a mainframe environmentProven ability to migrate data between mainframe storage subsystems (tape and DASD)Experience opening support tickets with major storage vendorsStrong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating client-facing documentationUnderstanding of data replication conceptsFamiliarity with Copy Services Manager (CSM) and IBM GRID technologyExperience with DELL EMC PMAX, VMAX, and DLM storage systemsExperience with Luminex recovery (a plus, but not required) If this job opportunity interests you and you fit the criteria above, we encourage you to apply!
