By applying the highest standards of business ethics and visionary thinking, we believe that everything is within our reach.The Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.Conduct system verification and support certification activities.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to accomplish technical objectivesRepresent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership on technical matters as required.Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments.Shift work may be required.This position involves the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing.Note:This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.This position involves the ability to travel domestically and possibly internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing.Here are some of the benefits you can enjoy:MedicalDental401kPaid time offWork/life balanceCareer developmentMentorship opportunitiesRewards & recognitionBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experienceFunctional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems and componentsExperience with the integration and test of radar systems, including functional and performance verification and the development of test procedures and plans.High proficiency in use of MATLAB and Python for data analysis.Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts and weekends as required by the supported programU.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearanceDesired Skills:Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalentRadar systems development and test experience, including signal processing, algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulationExperience with RF systems or antenna testing in near-field and far-field test environmentsKnowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design considerationsFamiliarity with earned value managementLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
