Summary:
As the Sr Account Manager, Special Markets at Trensor LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth in the automotive and mobile systems markets. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales and business development. The successful candidate will be a strong and persistent prospector with exceptional closing skills, preferably possessing an Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience selling into high technology or automotive markets.
Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:
  • Target Market Focus: Concentrate efforts on sophisticated Automotive, MD/HD, Ag, Industrial, HVAC/R, and boutique OEM/Unit/Systems manufacturer customers and in the automotive aftermarket.
  • Sales Management: Oversee the overall sales management of Key Accounts, assigned territories, and customers in the Automotive market.
  • Customer Relationship Development: Build and maintain senior-level relationships within key customers, understanding their business models, strategies, and requirements to position Trensor as a solutions leader.
  • Business Development: Identify and close new business opportunities driving improved revenues to ensure stable sales growth.
  • Prospecting and Growth: Prospect new sales opportunities for incremental growth
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular reporting of activities through sales reports, monthly funnel reviews, and territory forecasts.
  • Marketing and Events: Plan and execute regional marketing initiatives and customer events, coordinating meetings for tradeshows and industry events.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct constant analysis of the regional Automotive market, implementing benchmarks with key competitors.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Act as an important cross-functional interface with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Profitability Targets: Ensure a reliable monthly forecast and constantly secure product price levels to meet profitability targets.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience selling into high technology or automotive markets preferred, technical sales experience preferred
  • Proven relationship-building skills with a focus on Automotive OEM, Tier 1, and Automotive Specialty Markets
  • Demonstrated success in target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours, as needed.
  • Willingness to travel 15-35% to customer locations
The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000; this role is also eligible for an annual sales incentive.
