Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Analyst for reporting and analytical skills. Need someone to lead the team and have extensive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger experience.

Seeking someone willing to teach and develop staff.

Enter EAC revenue in Costpoint.
Review contracts for proper revenue recognition.
Create revenue analysis reports monthly.
Work with the finance team to analyze and confirm accruals.
Review indirect budgets and work with indirect departments to confirm if accruals are needed quarterly.
Support the monthly close process including running cost pools
Lead and develop general accounting team.
Act as project set-up Subject Matter Expert (SME) and review all project setup including WBS for new contracts or modifications set up in Deltek Costpoint.
Coordinate with the contracts department to ensure accurate setup and maintenance.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of Government Contracting experience
2-4 years of managing or supervisory role (Ideally Accounting Supervisor/ Manager)
Deltek Costpoint- 7.5 or higher but prefers 8.1 or 8.2 version must be experienced user
Strong front-end knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger experience.
Seeking someone willing to mentor and train members of the team.
Must be able to work with the Sr. Program Controller/CFO
