Job Overview

The Senior Systems Specialist is the functional lead for systems used by Accounts Payable, including Oracle Payables and iBuy (Coupa). This individual is responsible for managing systems projects for AP and is expected to take a strong leadership role in successfully implementing new software, upgrades, and patches, as well as identifying and communicating issues and solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve as functional lead for systems used by Accounts Payable including Oracle Payables and iExpense, iBuy (Coupa), Coupa Analytics, Fintech, OnBase imaging, and iKitchen.
• Identify issues and solutions for these systems and provide timely resolution.
• Manage systems projects including analyzing, recommending and implementing enhancements and upgrades.
• Work cross-functionally to organize testing for implementations, patches, and upgrades.
• Support the Blue Prism robotic solutions used by Accounts Payable
• Close Oracle AP at month end
• Create and update system queries as needed, such as Coupa reporting, Oracle Discoverer, Business Intelligence, etc.
• Train team members on systems, including query tools
• Order computers and other equipment when needed and maintain department equipment inventory.
• Maintain the department Business Continuity Plan.
• Maintain hierarchy and user access requests.
• Provide support to and communicate effectively with both internal and external auditors.
• Work with management to ensure an adequate control environment over systems and processes.
• Support the leadership team on special projects.

Required Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a system support role
• Knowledge of Oracle, Coupa and Business Intelligence reporting required
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead meetings
• Strong analytical and research ability
• Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge

Other Key Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while using sound judgment to make accurate, efficient decisions.
• Well-organized and detail oriented with reliable follow-through.
• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with all levels of coworkers.
• Proven leadership ability who can work well with others to promote positive team attitude.
