LOCATION: Van Nuys, CA
PAY RATE: $47.48/hour

We are a national staffing firm partnering with top-tier aerospace companies, and we are seeking first-class employees to join our clients' teams!

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage through Cigna

  • Perks: Bonus potential and priority as a Tier 1 supplier

  • Shift: 2nd

Summary:

  • Responsible for inspecting aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and verifying that all documentation is accurate and complete.

  • This role ensures that aircraft are returned to service in airworthy condition, while mentoring technicians and supporting ongoing inspection programs.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 6 years of aircraft/component inspection experience, including 3 years with large or mid-size aircraft.

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.

  • Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), FAA forms, and documentation.

  • Ability to read blueprints, maintenance manuals, and inspection documentation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong computer skills.

  • Minimum typing speed of 20 WPM.

  • Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with FAA certification approval processes.

  • Knowledge of FAA 8130-9 Statements of conformity.

  • Ability to mentor and train junior technicians.

  • Familiarity with Aircraft Log Books and maintenance programs.

  • Ability to conduct audits and research inspection statuses.
