Sr Applications Engineer Completion Tools Apply

We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Applications Engineer to join our team and provide critical technical support to operations, sales, and engineering. Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide technical and applications engineering support to operations, sales, and engineering teams.
- Visit operational districts to offer in-person assistance for critical projects.
- Develop technical proposals, well schematics, and running procedures.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Participate in design reviews for new and updated products proposed by engineering.
- Prepare and maintain controlled copies of product bulletins, data sheets, and relevant templates.
- Write and present technical papers for professional associations such as SPE.
- Field Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge of field operations, including completions, well construction, toe valves, frac operations, and open-hole/cemented frac completions.
- Utilize mastery of oilfield math calculations (volumes, pressures, forces, and advanced hydraulics).
- Mentorship & Training: Provide mentorship and create educational materials for sales, operations, R&D, and junior engineers.
- Support the supply chain by verifying the accuracy of orders.
- Customer Engagement: Interface with clients, manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and handle related processes.
- Be available on a 24-hour call basis to address customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all tasks are executed to the highest quality standards.
- Adhere to company policies, including the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery policy, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in applications engineering with exposure to:
- Conventional packers, thru-tubing, inflates, ACP/stage tools, and scab liners.
- Skills: Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with industry software (e.g., torque and drag, tube move, hydraulics, centralizer placement).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Abilities: Ability to plan, control, and take responsibility for own work.
- Work effectively with diverse teams and departments.
- Preferred: Willingness to work in Midland, TX, or Denver, CO, is a plus.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
