As an integral member of the Financial Operations Team, you will ensure accurate Firm financials across several entities.  You will work hand in hand with other members of the Operations Team to ensure activities are properly recorded in our financial books and records.  Additionally, you will work closely with the CFO on corporate level finance initiatives including reporting and audits.

·      Perform accurate data entry into firm accounting and workflow systems

·      Record daily cash transactions in General Ledger

·      Maintain official Firm books and records

·      Provide support to the CFO in various capacities

Operations responsibilities include:

·      Participate in escrow distributions and closings across all clients

·      Create and disseminate Dealer Manager reports for Fund clients

·      Record all client funding activity as well as daily reconciliation for all existing escrow accounts

·      Adhere to AML processes and procedures

·      Provide general operations support as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills

·      Keen attention to detail

·      Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·      Demonstrated values of integrity, honesty, and discretion when working with sensitive information

·      Ability to function as a team player and maintain good working relationships with other teammates and clients

·      Proactive and process driven

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education and Experience:

·      Bachelor’s Degree (major in accounting preferred)

·      Experience with accounting systems, preferably Sage/Intacct

·      Proficient in Microsoft Excel

·      3 - 5 years accounting or financial operations experience

Position attributes:

·      Hybrid work environment, currently with 2 days per week in-office

·      Based in Richmond, Virginia

At WealthForge, we foster an open, inclusive, and outcomes-focused work environment that makes it possible for you to see the difference you make to our business rather than feeling like a cog in a machine.  We promote hands-on learning and internal knowledge-sharing, using digital software and other tools that make our work collaborative and elastic.
