About the Role and Team The Audit Insights and Innovation (I&I) team is at the cutting edge of AI, data management, and machine learning to deliver risk insights for internal auditors. You will join a cross-functional team modernizing internal audit workflows, working with full-stack engineering teams and UI/UX designers. You will help surface real-time insights for auditors throughout the audit lifecycle and bridge generative AI capabilities with enterprise design and domain expertise in a regulated environment. This role offers the opportunity to build foundational AI-assisted auditing experiences as part of Capital One. You will own the vision and roadmap of your experience within the Audit Compass application, driving immediate value to auditors. Success will involve understanding and building complex data pipelines and developing foundational AI capabilities for audit engineering. Key Growth Areas Human Centered You will collaborate with tech teams to define acceptance criteria and identify needs for additional research to inform future feature design. You will break down epics into features and user stories to drive MVPs for feature testing. Business Focused Demonstrate a growth mindset and use hypothesis-driven data assessment to ensure products meet real business needs. Own and prioritize feature roadmaps and manage risk through required processes and procedures. Technology Driven Work autonomously in an agile environment to conduct research and develop features using new technologies. Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and domain experts to build cutting-edge solutions for customers. Deliver well-managed product platforms by understanding technology trends and architecture strategy. Transformational Leadership Participate in horizontal forums to build relationships with tech teams, designers, stakeholders, and partner teams. Articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver business value and share it with stakeholders, becoming a product expert.
