Sr. Backend Java Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA, Onsite from Day 1 Duration: 6-12 months with expected extensions Visa: Any Visa (except H1B and CPT) Interview: Phone/Zoom Required Skills: 8+ years of experience, 10+ preferred Java programming Spring Ecosystem / Spring Boot REST API design and implementation Build tools and dependency management using Gradle or similar tools Experience with distributed systems development Experience with messaging systems Experience with caching solutions Relational Database (MySQL, Oracle etc.) AngularJS or similar framework JavaScript Unit Testing, Integration testing and Automated testing Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms Knowledge of multi-threading Experience with Continuous Integration Exposure to a NoSQL database such as MongoDB is helpful Strong collaboration and communication skills Comfortable to operate in a dynamic agile environment Principal Backend Java Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA, Onsite from Day 1, 1-2 days a week Qualifications: You're proactive and hands-on. Experience in a highly transactional environment Excellent communication skills When you see a potential issue, you never leave things hanging and unfinished. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements. You have 10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role. You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience. Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, in larger teams Experience Leading distributed teams and business initiatives. BackEnd: Experience Leading projects using Java / Spring Boot / Restful APIs / Microservices Database: Experience Leading projects using MySQL, Elastic Search, or non-SQL databases Queue Managers - Experience Leading projects using SQS or Kafka DevOps - Experience Leading projects using Jenkins / Docker / Kubernetes Automation Experience with Unit Test Frameworks / Test-Driven Development
