Position : Sr. Chemical Project Engineer

Location: Henry, IL (Onsite)

Contract - 18 Month

Role Description:

Client is manufacturing dispersion, blending, powder coating & specialty suspension vinyl resins.

Two Key Projects:

1. Environmental goals eliminate solid waste to landfill

a. Evaluating systems for collection and drying

b. Timeline is tight, technically we need done before the end of the year.

I. Need to have an engineering scope so we can implement it in 2025

2. SIS for our shortstop on two lines, two of the reactors a. Currently use a material that can be toxic, and we would like to replace it with a non-toxic material. Expectations

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, construction, and startup of various projects at the Henry facility.

These projects will include: - Collection, concentration, drying, and packaging of PVC waste streams. - Design of an SIS shortstop system for Line 4 and Line 5 determine capital requirements for 2025 install - Design of sulfite flow meter system Complies with all Plant safety, health, and environmental requirements. Working with plant personnel, define project requirements, develop design, and follow the Project Management procedures. Select and manage contractors to complete assigned projects. With the plant team provide start-up review (PSSR's), standard operating procedures (SOP's) as well as P&ID development for projects

• KEY THINGS:
  • Cradle to grave Capex start to finish their Capex projects are 500k to One million, so smaller Cradle to Grave CAPEX experience.
  • SIS System Design
  • Project management experience, What methodology do they use, what tools, how to they prioritize items.
    • We get Same day feedback, they stay on after TEAMS.
    • Will Hire off Teams or non local or do an onsite for local.
    • Getting very urgent and behind
