Sr. Clinical Physicist
The Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Sciences at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Clinical physicist to provide specialized skills to meet the technical requirements of radiation therapy, conduct research, and contribute to teaching in associated education programs. The successful candidate will report to the Chief of Medical Physics Division and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of medical physics duties, including radiation protection, simulation, treatment planning, and machine and patient-specific quality assurance. Candidates with strong communication and collaboration skills are desired. Candidate should be willing to participate in developmental projects that align with the programmatic goals of the department.
Minimum Qualifications

Starting Salary Range: Min $135,600 - Max $237,300 Annually ($200,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)

Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.

- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology, the American College or Medical Physics, Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine, or other relevant medical physics boards, or eligible for board certification.
- Research and educational experience in a university-based hospital is highly desirable.
