A partner organization is seeking a Sr. Compensation Consultant in Minnetonka, MN. This role will support the ongoing development of the compensation strategy to attract, retain, and motivate employees while aligning with business initiatives and growth. The position involves participating in various projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment that impacts the entire enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the annual increase process and incentive payout calculations and communications.
  • Provide expertise, guidance, and analytical support to business leaders and HR partners on day-to-day compensation issues, including market analysis for new positions and promotions.
  • Address retention issues as they arise.
  • Perform complex analyses to identify opportunities and make recommendations for the development or modification of compensation programs (base pay, incentive pay, comp plan design, etc.).
  • Summarize and present recommendations and solutions to HR and business leaders.
  • Produce workforce analytics, audit compensation data, and identify trends affecting the business.
  • Participate in the survey management process, including survey selection, participation, results review, and data migration to CompAnalyst (online market pricing tool).
  • Complete additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years of related work experience beyond degree.
  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to build credibility with customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of applicable wage laws and regulations (FLSA, Equal Pay, etc.).
  • Strong data and systems analytics and compensation modeling skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • This position is a Hub role, requiring occasional onsite presence in Minnetonka, MN, as determined by business need.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $85,000 - $145,700, based on education, work experience, certifications, and market data.
  • Eligibility for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
