Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Consumer Insights Managers located in Bellevue, WA will be responsible for delivering consumer insights and actionable recommendations to T-Mobile Marketing leadership that enhance brand and acquisition strategy. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Mine brand and wireless category tracking data at both the National and Market level to deliver insights on company and competitor brand health, brand perceptions, customer satisfaction, purchase behavior. Conduct custom analytics from large consumer-survey datasets, including text analytics and predictive modeling techniques. Integrate brand data, wireless category data, competitive intelligence, social listening and advertising data to understand brand influences and guide company growth. Effectively manage market research suppliers to ensure high quality research execution, effective reporting, and timely delivery of projects. Interact directly with key Marketing stakeholders to assess analytics needs and prioritizing requests; select appropriate data source and analytic methods; and communicate insights and recommendations via infographic, newsletter, PowerPoint, and presentation, as appropriate. Influence business decision making through story-driven, visually compelling presentations, and advanced analytic methods. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Skill requirements: Using Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, perform VLOOKUP, MATCH, INDEX, and other data analysis to analyze market-level brand health metrics and generate actionable insights for Marketing leaders. Using SPSS Statistics, SAS, SQL, Visual studio, Machine learning techniques (e.g., decision tree, neural networks, clustering, etc.) to identify drivers of consumer behaviors and brand perceptions for Marketing leaders. Using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, or other data visualization software to report survey results. Designing surveys and analyzing survey data leveraging both qualitative (in-depth interviews, group assessment) and quantitative (driver analysis, Max-Diff, TURF, Principal Component analysis) research methods. Using primary and secondary 3rd party data sources (HarrisX Mobile Insights, YouGov BrandIndex and Profiles, and the BERA platform) to gather data, extracting and integrating data with custom data for deep dive analytics. Leading analytic projects independently, from needs assessment through final reporting. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
