BCT has teamed up with our long-term, Dallas-based client for a Sr. Data & ETL Engineer opportunity. This is a direct-hire position located onsite in Dallas. This role requires knowledge of Data Warehouse Frameworks, ETL, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in scripting and be able to facilitate data analysis including cleansing, training, and analyzing data in real-time.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Define, facilitate, perform, plan, and conduct tasks associated with software installations, upgrades, and patch installations.
  • Optimize report queries using partition and indexing.
  • Evaluate, implement, monitor, and maintain TBS-related software solutions.
  • Design, test, implement, monitor, and maintain system infrastructure and processes.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of business flow processes and procedures needed to properly utilize and maintain the TBS system.
  • Review and assist with specifications and maintenance for security and data integrity regarding TBS applications to ensure systems are protected from internal and external communities.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation for the TBS-related business procedures and processes.
  • Perform troubleshooting of network, system hardware, software, business processes, and application issues on a daily basis.
  • Troubleshoot system interfaces to and from other systems, including Internet-based applications to ensure internal and external availability is maximized.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of similar experience OR a high school diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and 5 years of similar experience.
  • Proficient skills in scripting and/or other programming languages that facilitate data analysis including methods to cleanse, train, and analyze data in real-time.
  • Must be familiar with optimizing report queries using partition and indexing.
