Sr. Database Administrator March Air Reserve Base, CA / Hybrid U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required Blu Omega is seeking a Sr. Database Administrator to support a federal program focused on border security and surveillance operations. This role operates within a hybrid environment and is responsible for supporting mission-critical systems related to border protection and national security. The position requires experience supporting systems engineering, network engineering, cybersecurity, and systems integration within a mission-driven environment. Program Overview Mission overview: Support efforts to detect, interdict, and prevent acts of terrorism, drug trafficking, and illegal border crossings through integrated surveillance and communication systems. The program involves working with C4I systems, ISR platforms, satellite communications, and sensor integrations, supporting international partners including Mexico and Canada. Key Details Location: March Air Reserve Base, CA / Hybrid Clearance: CBP required to start work Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required as a precondition of employment Responsibilities Perform all aspects of advanced Oracle environment system administration for development, test, and production activities Diagnose and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues involving critical C4I Oracle applications Provide all C4I Oracle DBA support, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, partitioning, installation, and configuration Write and update PL/SQL statements and maintain Oracle databases Build, modify, and query interfaces for visualization tools using Elasticsearch and OpenLayers Support law enforcement and operations by providing specialized Oracle Reports Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience supporting Oracle environment system administration Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and database configuration Ability to write and update PL/SQL statements Experience with Elasticsearch and OpenLayers for data visualization U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting law enforcement or mission-critical systems Knowledge of C4I systems and ISR platforms Experience with Oracle Reports Compensation Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
