Project Notes:

This will be a new project team with the focus being Governance Risk and compliance(GRC). There are a few key audits happening to Rockwell in the coming months and this team would be designed to operate between teams increasing their compliance and security practices.

What you will do:

• Work with customer business units to use cloud services to achieve revenue faster
• Design and implement technical solutions for business problems
• Design, code, and test new tools, applications, and services
• Help teams use and implement DevOps tools and practices
• Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations
• Author and iterate technical documentation
• Stay current with latest cloud tech and obtain/maintain cloud certifications
• Act as a mentor and learner- always answer and ask questions
• Translate architecture/road maps into implementable solutions
• Help Rockwell accelerate the adoption of cloud services across the organization
• Bring industry best-practices and new thinking to the team
• Practice SAFE Agile principles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent engineering experience
• Minimum of 5 years of mixed IT experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform, PowerShell, Git)
• Technical Skills: Understanding of cloud computing technologies.
• Optionally, demonstrated hands on experience in one or more of the following:
• Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability
• Azure PaaS Services: Logic Apps, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, IoT suite, Advisor, etc.
• Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD, ADFS, etc.
• Data Platform and Bigdata: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, HDInsight/Hadoop, Machine Learning, CosmosDB

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Cloud experience, preferably Azure.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Experience in implementing cost management solutions.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and to communicate effectively with internal and external partners
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Hub-Spoke model, On-prem, VWAN)
• Experience in one or more SQL or NoSQL databases like AzureSQL, MSSQL MI and CosmosDB.
• Any cloud certifications (AZ-400, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar)
• Deploying/Migrating mixed Cloud architectures (PaaS, SaaS, and/or IaaS)
• Interest for Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud and will to constantly grow, learn and enhancing the skills in this area
