The Impact You’ll Make At Danfoss Turbocor, you’ll help power the world’s most energy‑efficient HVAC systems. As a Senior Embedded Engineer, your work directly supports cutting‑edge oil‑free, magnetic‑bearing compressor technology that reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions globally. In this role, you won’t just write code—you’ll influence how advanced embedded systems are designed, tested, and delivered. You’ll work across hardware and software boundaries, shaping solutions that are critical to performance, reliability, and customer success. This is a hands‑on opportunity to grow your expertise across the full software development lifecycle, while mentoring others and contributing to innovative technologies that make a meaningful difference. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and contribute across the full SDLC—from requirements and design to development, testing, and deployment of embedded compressor control software Build and enhance real‑time embedded systems and interfaces across industrial communication buses, configuration tools, and automated test platforms Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to solve complex software and hardware challenges and improve system performance Drive best practices in software development, including documentation, traceability, configuration management, and test validation Provide technical mentorship and leadership, helping teammates grow while advancing cybersecurity and compliance in embedded systems What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in C/C++ development, including at least 3 years in embedded systems programming Hands‑on experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and development tools such as Code Composer Studio, Eclipse, or similar IDEs Strong understanding of data structures, object‑oriented programming, and Git‑based version control Ability to work across multiple environments (embedded, Linux, Windows) and adapt to evolving technical needs Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a passion for continuous learning What You’ll Get From Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
