Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities Assist with creation and distribution of monthly reporting packages using both financial and customer-based metrics while adhering to deadlines. Participate in the monthly and quarterly close process of financial results through the gathering and analysis of historical data, trending future requirements, and summarizing in a meaningful way. Understand consolidated financial results and drive meaningful interpretation by doing variance analysis against budgeted, forecast and year-over-year comparison. Involvement in the strategic planning process, assessment of strategic investments and decision support. Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. Drive rationalization and standardization of financial models across the organization to improve efficiency and consistency. Involvement in M&A integration, assessment and update of financial plans for the organization. Establish and maintain financial reporting, metrics, dashboards and analysis that meet the needs of the business, corporate finance and executive leadership. Continually identify and execute on internal process improvements. Develop and prepare internal reporting packages and dashboards that provides the business value added insight to enable business decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with other financial analysts and managers on special projects, as prioritized by finance leadership. Partner with cross functional teams in the design, development, testing and implementation activities relating to reporting and system enhancements while identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. Develop and maintain product-level P&L reporting and analysis to support profitability and strategic decisions. Mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional projects to enhance the FP&A function. Serve as a subject matter expert to the Finance organization on our planning system from a reporting standpoint as well as Anaplan. Load, maintain and analyze global corporate assumptions in TM1. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Thorough understanding of financial statements and financial reporting. Strong organizational and analytical skills to understand business requirements and track plan changes. Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to interact and effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the Company. Experience analyzing financial reporting problems, developing strategies, and designing reporting solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues. Willingness to be agile and learn and adapt to new processes and systems in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Solid interpersonal skills and ability to align with various teams across the organization. Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Data Analytics or similar related field. 3 to 5 years+ of relevant work experience in a Financial Analyst capacity, working in a Technology company preferred. Professional designation such as CPA, CFA or other equivalent preferred. Experience with in-depth use of Enterprise planning systems such as TM1, Anaplan or similar systems a plus. Experience with data management and visualization solutions such as Power BI is a plus. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, especially in financial modeling is expected.
